Private lessons are used to gain further technique and understanding in an array of styles. Students utilise these lessons to work on the breakdown of technique and accelerate in their chosen genre. Working toward the student’s personal goals and needs, our faculty creates a specialised program for your child in order to best facilitate further understanding of the chosen genre and to allow in-depth knowledge of technique.
Each student that partakes in weekly private lessons receives a private lesson folder and receives, upon the completion of their lesson each week, a feedback form. This form will list the corrections, exercises and home practice requirements for that particular week. This assists students keep record of progress, focus sessions and show accountability for their progression and training.
It is recommended that students who intend to complete a Royal Academy of Dance examination have a minimum 1 x 30 minute technical Private Lesson weekly.
